Police are asking for help to identify a woman whole stole a backpack.
Sometime just before midnight on September 4, 2022, an unknown female stole a grey Hurley brand backpack from a business in the 4300 block of Main St., and the theft was captured on the business’ surveillance video.
The woman stole the backpack when the complainant was facing away from her. During the theft, a second woman was with the first.
The first woman’s description:
- Light/fair complexion
- Brown, long wavy hair
- Age 20-30 years
- Wearing a brown hat, dark blue shirt, and beige shorts
The second woman’s description:
- Light/fair complexion
- Brown straight hair
- Age 20-30 years
- Wearing a black top and black pants
Contents in the backpack included protein supplements, Ray Ban sunglasses, and some other personal items.
While the value of stolen goods is not significant in the big picture, no one should have their things stolen,
says Corporal Angela Kermer of the Sea to Sky RCMP.
