On December 20, 2022, at 6:13pm, the Fort St John RCMP received a report from staff at the Safeway grocery store that a man had punched a self-checkout till, causing damage and rendering it useless.

Police obtained surveillance video and requests the public’s assistance in identifying the male suspect.

The man is described as:

• Caucasian male,
• Appears to be in his 40’s – 50’s,
• Heavier set,
• Wears glasses,
