The Terrace RCMP continue their investigation into missing person, Leon Sinclair who is also wanted on warrants outside of BC.
A missing person report that began in Houston BC (Houston file 2022-2382), made its way to Prince Rupert, and eventually to Terrace BC. Family of Sinclair made the initial report in October of 2022, advising that they had last spoken to him in September 2021.
RCMP continue to investigate the whereabouts of Leon Sinclair who may also be using the alias of Evan Sinclair
or Evan Leon
. Although some people in Terrace say they believe they have seen him, police have not been able to confirm the sightings and say it is possible that he has moved on to a new location.
Leon Sinclair is believed to be actively avoiding police knowing that he has outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Terrace RCMP are asking the public not to engage with Sinclair, but to report any sightings, paying close attention to the date, time, location and a physical or clothing description.

Sinclair is described as:
- Indigenous man
- 56 years old
- 5’9
- 181 lb
- Brown eyes
- Gray hair
- Scar at the corner of left eye
- Usually wearing jeans, t-shirts and leather loafers
