Police continue historical missing person search for Le-Roi La France

Coquitlam RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a historical missing person, 79-year-old Le-Roi La France. Le-Roi was last seen on March 20, 1964 leaving the family home. Le-Roi would have been 19-years-old at the time.
The missing person investigation for Le-Roi was taken over by Coquitlam RCMP in 2016 when it was believed he may have resided in Coquitlam in 1964. Although foul play is not suspected, it has also not been completely rules out.

Le-Roi can be described as:
- Indigenous man
- Brown short hair
- Brown eyes
- 5’5 tall
- Slim build
- Wears glasses
Throughout the years, Police have continued their search efforts in locating missing person, Le-Roi who has not been seen since 1964,
, said Staff Sergeant Ed Yoshiyama, Coquitlam RCMP Investigative Services Support (ISS) Commander. This year, Le-Roi will have been missing for 60 years. We haven’t given up hope that we might find new information to aid in our search for answers in this historical missing case. We are asking if anyone has seen him or know of his whereabouts, please contact the Coquiltam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2016-10428.
